We are excited to be offering afternoon enrichment programs new to St Mark’s for 2011/2012 on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, in addition to karate and dance classes offered on Mondays and Tuesdays as follows:
| Monday | Karate Class offered at 3:30pm – open to students enrolled at St Mark’s Preschool. Flyers are available in the school office. Completed forms and checks should be left in the school office. |
| Tuesday | Dance Class offered at 3:30pm - open to students enrolled at St Mark’s Preschool. Flyers are available in the school office. Completed forms and checks should be left in the school office. Please note that karate and dance classes are offered at an additional fee (payable to the teachers of the classes). Classes are open to all enrolled students at St Mark’s, so if your child is on a morning only schedule or not regularly at school on the day of the class, parents or guardians can bring their child in for the class time. A parent or guardian should remain on campus for the duration of the class and collect students at the end of class time. |
| Wednesday | Cooking enrichment, soccer enrichment, & science enrichment, to alternate by month, starting with cooking in September. Please see weekly lesson plans for details. |
| Thursday | Spanish enrichment and Art Club will alternate week by week. Spanish is lead by Mr Ricardo, Art Club by Miss Stephanie. Please see weekly lesson plans for details. |
| Friday | Movie Afternoons (at 5:00pm an age appropriate story or educational DVD will be shown to students in the Yellow Room). About once a month at 3:30pm we will offer a “mini concert”. Concerts usually take place in the church hall, and are open to all students, families, friends and neighbors. They usually last about 20 minutes. |
